JKR Sarawak will be one of the 6 agencies from
Sarawak to participate the 5th National Geospatial Information
Symposium at Putrajaya International Convention Centre on 21 and 22 May 2012.
The event, with the theme “Inovasi Geospatial
Memperkasakan Transformasi Negara”, is
organised by Pusat Infrastruktur Data Geospatial Negara (MaCGDI), Kementerian
Sumber Asli & Alam Sekitar, Jabatan Ukur dan Pemetaan Malaysia (JUPEM),
Unit Pemodenan Tadbiran dan Perangcangan Pengurusan Malaysia (MAMPU), and
International Symposium and Exhibition on Geoinformation (ISG).
JKR Sarawak will showcase one of its core services
on GEOINFOS database for geotechnical sites of roads and buildings.
The other 5 participants from Sarawak are: Kuching
North City Council, Natural Resources and Environment Board, Drainage and
Irrigation, and Department of Agriculture.
